December Challenge : Advice from a Tree

I am so obsessed with buttons lately, their shapes and colours are so lovely that I wanted to shape a tree from them. Then, I came across this quote from Pinterest and decided to turned it into a scrap with the button tree. What do you think?

Sweet Treat at Myeong-dong

By now, you must now how additected I am to Kristin Aagard Designs. Once again, I used her kit to scrap my third day in Korea. I felt in love from head over heel for this sweet kit, with so many candies and sweet treat inside.... I Want Candy! For the template, of course Little Green Frog Design again, with additional photo at the bottom.

Here you go : Shopping Day at Myeong-dong! I and the girls had a blast walking through the street of Myeong-dong tasting the tallest ice cream, some Korean pancakes and obviously doing a bit of cosmetic shopping. I just couldn't resist it... Nature Republic was having a 50% sale.... :).

Ferry to Nami Island

I like to tell story with my scrapbooking pages, therefore I prefer template that can accommodate a lot of pictures including the big one as a focal point. This template by Little Green Frod Design is my favorite and I know I'm going to use it over and over again with different kits. I used it to scrap my photos in a ferry ride to Nami Island. I rotated the template and slightly change the position of one of the photo. Can you tell?

The theme of my page is travelling by ferry or boat and I wanted to use bluish papers. How glad I was when I discovered that Bella Gypsy's freebie patterned papers in their fan facebook were mostly blue! I combined it with boat, cute sailors and silver anchor element I just bought from Kristin Aagard Designs called Little Traveller. Psst... I bought it when Scraporchard had a special Advent Day 5 in which all Kristin's product was discounted by 50%. Wow, what a bargain...! I'm still waiting for the day when Bella Gypsy has their store on sale too. I would buy a bunch I supposed :). I love their style...

Little Green Frog Designs : Tickertape

I really want to scrap Alyssa's first ballet performance but haven't quite find the perfect template. I'm so thrilled to see this template while browing throgh Scrap Orchard's market during DSD Sale! I just love the big photo template with accent of smaller photos and stacked paper on the side...

I paired this template with a new kit that I got for spending $7.5 during Kristin Aagard opening store at Scrap Orchard called Moving Day. I initially wanted to used the Twinkle Toes kit, but the color scheme doesn't match. So I just take the word arts and the musical notes instead. I'm glad that she's moving to SO because SO is full of talented designers that produce magnificent kits I eager to collect!

Kristin Aagard : Jungle Boogie

I've got this safari kit in my stash since last INSD on May 2012. Inspired by a total cuteness of my smiling nephew, Satria, I finally felt my creative juices flowing back in :). Look at those cute animals and the patterned papers. They are just to fun to resist, don't you think? I rarely scrap with alpha, but these sets of giraffe, zebra and cheetah skin papers are too cute not to work with...

My daughter, Alyssa, loves this kit too and she made something for herself. She picked.... Can you guess? Yes, monkey background paper! Partly because when she was little all she ever dreamed of was to become KINGKONG and she liked hopping from window bar to the bed from time to time :). She created this page absolutely by herself, including arranging the tittle made from cheetah skin alpha. I only helped with the shadowing. For the final touch, she also added the blue ribbon on the lion's head. What a sweet detail! Not bad for an 8 years old.... Proud of you, wushu girl :)

Kristin Aagard : Twinkle Toes

Acha and Alyssa have just started taking ballet lesson. It is Acha dream to be a prima ballerina. She had this desire since she was 4 years old but I kept waiting until finally, I went to Arabesque ballet course at jl.Cihapit. Acha and Alyssa first joined trial lesson and they both liked it. So, they both enrolled with different schedule. Acha, Beginner 1 level, only on Saturday at 1 o'clock. Alyssa, Beginner 2 level, on Wednesday and Saturday at 4 o'clock.

Of course, I'm gonna need a ballerina kit! You betcha! And I found one... made by Kristin Aagard by the name Twinkle Toes. The ballerina figures are to cute! Look...

I haven't taken their photos in their tutu yet but I can't wait to start using this kit so I scrap my newly born niece, Qeyla. I hope you'll like it, dear...
