Siamese Studio : DSD Grab Bag

This is another stunning DSD Grab Bag by Siamese Studio that I'm lucky enough to play with.

Inside the Grab Bag, there are four mini kits like these :

I scanned my old photos when I was in Sydney and scrapped this photo that I like so much. For the template, I used Snapdragon by Little Green Frog Designs again.

Siamese Studio : Autumn Breeze (21 September)

Aww... finally I could make the full flower clustering like I always dream of! At start, I kinda doubt myself, could I do it or not? Because I never tried heavy clustering before, I always feel I'm not really good at clustering different flowers to create a certain depth. I used this perfect autumn kit from Siamese Studio called Autumn Breeze which the colours just tickle myself to play!

Note : You know what, this layout received a GSO at ScrapMatters for the week 15-21 September! And on the same week, my other layout with another Siamese Studio kit called Summerwings also got GSO. Double GSO! How awesome is that.... lucky me!! The sad thing is I accidentally saved the PSD file while in flattening form so I lost all the layers. Oh no.... my first full clustering work around the page and I messed it up! To think that I have to redo all the flowers resizing and shadowing... so painful!

Siamese Studio : Summer Wings

I love this pretty kit so much... the bright yellow colors, the sparkles, the birds and all the different unusual flowers and leaves just tickle my hands to play with them. I got this kit from Siamese Studio's existing collection and I think it's just drop dead gorgeous!

Initially I want to fill all the sides with flower clustering and leave the middle empty, only with words arts. I always want to create such a layout. But, I don't know why I ended up with this gorgeous bird background paper and included my daughters photos on it! Oh well, I like this too...

The next day after I posted this layout to ScrapMatters' gallery, I checked the comments and surprisingly found this comment by Dolores (one of the ScrapMatters' girl) :"Absolutely gorgeous! The realistic elements on the beautiful background paper is awesome! The pops of yellow are great! GSO!!! http://scrapmatters.com/forums/showt...353#post449353". Wow, it's really made my day... first GSO at ScrapMatters :)

Siamese Studio : Reflection of Love

How about scrapping something different? Like a story of the kids sleeping styles! I'm totally up for it! I used a mini kit by Siamese Studio because I like the color combination so much...

This is the description of her lovely kit : Her friends said young love was the best but she didn’t believe that. Somehow she had always known that true love – the lasting kind- was the type that weathered storms and came out reborn into something stronger and more vibrant, something fresh and almost new but in the very best way of being familiar. It was the type of love she saw reflected on the faces of those who seemed to have lost everything but each other or on those faces imprinted with the years. Those reflections of love made her sure in what she wanted and she was willing to wait for it. Record your reflections of love, all about me thoughts or friendships with these fresh, revitalizing papers and ellies from Siamese Studio. Included are: 22 unique elements, a total of 42, 8 solid and patterned papers; 12 x 12.

Siamese Studio : Romance a Paris - April G-A-B for SBB

She breathed in the fragrance of the colorful blossoms surrounding the outdoor café. She smiled and shook her head as she gazed at the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Springtime in Paris – who would have thought that one promise would ever be a reality? It was what he promised her when he was down on one knee, after too many sleepless nights rocking the baby, when she couldn’t adjust to the daytime quiet after their youngest finally started school, when she wondered what happened to the years as their oldest crossed the stage for his diploma and then later when their middle one floated down the aisle to meet her groom, and before the grandchildren made Paris no longer matter.

It was what he promised her and what she had promised him right back as she kissed him before his last breath came too soon on that awful winter morning. She kissed her bent fingers and pressed them to the faded photograph of their wedding day, tucked it into the pocket nearest her heart and stepped into the afternoon sunshine.

Celebrate the promises made and dreams to reach with the energizing colors and beautiful embellishments of Romance a Paris, a gorgeous new offering from Siamese Studio worthy of your favorite memories and hopes. Beside the elements and papers, you can also get the stacked papers and clusters.

Siamese Studio : Bumble Rumble (5 April)

A mix of yellow, blue and brown would resulted on what? Yes... this totally cute kit called Bumble Rumble designed by Siamese Studio. This April, she is guesting at The Digichick and she launched this kit exclusively there.

Do you have some little busy bees buzzing around your house, always into something? Maybe your flower garden is just starting to bloom and you’ve gotten some great shots of real bees. Or maybe you’re just looking for a cheery kit to play with now that the dreary days of winter are past. Bumble Rumble is the kit for you! With its happy yellows and unique elements, you can use it for a variety of photos and special moments.

Included are more than 50 elements including flowers, foliage, ribbons, word arts, and more. And there are 12 solid and patterned papers; 12 x 12.

Alyss is the definitely the busy bee in our houese. In her rare silent moment, she usually concentrates on making some creative art works like cards, comics or just drawing something :). Here she was, posing between two cars...

Siamese Studio : Sunset Paradise (March M-A-K) @ SM (01/03/2012)

Leave the everyday world behind. Close your eyes and feel the sand in your toes as you let the sea breeze carry your worries away.

With gorgeous sunset hues and deep ocean blues, Sunset Paradise is perfect for all your tropical getaways, whether you're creating a fantasy page or scrapping your photos of splashing around in the water and collecting shells on the beach. Indulge your senses with this little bit of paradise.

I've never used a kit with orange, blue and sandy color palette before. But, just look at the nuance of the papers. Drop dead gorgeous... There also some lovely Word Arts that match the theme and also sound really sweet.

May from Siamese Studio released this kit as a part of March "Mix a Kit" at ScrapMatters. I think the colors represent sunset very well and this kit is really versatile to use for a holiday on the beach. I used my kids' photo of them playing with the waves while witnessing sunset at Jimbaran, Bali. The result is gorgeous :).

Don't miss it! You can grab the Elements, Solid Papers and Pattern Papers at ScapMatters.

Swimming Girl

Another layout I made for Scrapbook-Bytes' Template challenge. I still used Siamese Studio's Love Birds and The Urban Fairy's Photo Treatments action V-2. I love how easy we can get 4 different Black and White just by clicking action button. I'm lovin it... Danielle, you're the best!

Oh yeah... as an addition to the action, I put a pink paper layer on top of the photo and reduce the opacity to get a bit of pink nuance on the photos underneath.

Here is my layout :
