Sweet Treat at Myeong-dong
By now, you must now how additected I am to Kristin Aagard Designs. Once again, I used her kit to scrap my third day in Korea. I felt in love from head over heel for this sweet kit, with so many candies and sweet treat inside.... I Want Candy! For the template, of course Little Green Frog Design again, with additional photo at the bottom.
Here you go : Shopping Day at Myeong-dong! I and the girls had a blast walking through the street of Myeong-dong tasting the tallest ice cream, some Korean pancakes and obviously doing a bit of cosmetic shopping. I just couldn't resist it... Nature Republic was having a 50% sale.... :).

Ferry to Nami Island
I like to tell story with my scrapbooking pages, therefore I prefer template that can accommodate a lot of pictures including the big one as a focal point. This template by Little Green Frod Design is my favorite and I know I'm going to use it over and over again with different kits. I used it to scrap my photos in a ferry ride to Nami Island. I rotated the template and slightly change the position of one of the photo. Can you tell?
The theme of my page is travelling by ferry or boat and I wanted to use bluish papers. How glad I was when I discovered that Bella Gypsy's freebie patterned papers in their fan facebook were mostly blue! I combined it with boat, cute sailors and silver anchor element I just bought from Kristin Aagard Designs called Little Traveller. Psst... I bought it when Scraporchard had a special Advent Day 5 in which all Kristin's product was discounted by 50%. Wow, what a bargain...! I'm still waiting for the day when Bella Gypsy has their store on sale too. I would buy a bunch I supposed :). I love their style...

Kimchi Class
I need to put 6 photos in this layout, that's why I re-used one of my favorite template from Connie Prince's Project 2012 - January Mega stash. I like it because it's simple and so symmetrical! As for the elements and papers, finally I got an excuse to use cooking theme kits from Aprilisa Designs and Meta Wulandari Designs. Both have been lurking in my stash untouchable for months, LOL... Look at those Lisa's wordbits, they are really perfect for this occasion, aren't they? And I really adore the green part of the Meta's journal card which pop this page a lot...

Hanbok Day
Getting pictures taken wearing hanbok is one of my dream since I saw the character of Jang Geum in one of Korean TV Drama, which I couldn't recall the title by now :). She looked so elegant but yet still comfortable on it. A rare combination!. Wearing traditional dress, like Indonesian Kebaya for example, requires more effort on term of putting on make up, hair do and the tight kebaya itself. But, it's totally different with hanbok. It's really comfy!
I specifically bought this kit simply because the word arts really represent the theme I want to showcase throughout the layout : FAMILY. I really rarely shop for kits but since it was Black Friday and Sweet Shoppe has this rare 40% discount, so what the heck... just buy it and scrap with it right away! And, the template is from Aprilisa Designs I bought with the coupon I got for winning Gallery Standout Contest the other day.
Note : The 2 Korean Women in hanbook and the korean scroll are not part of the kit. I took it after Googling in a Korean souvenir online shop. The date tag I took from Pixelily Design's Fall Festival Elements.

Little Green Frog Designs : Tickertape
I think this template is gonna be my all time favorite from LGFD. I love the big picture background and the additional 4 smaller frames surround it. This time, I mirrored it and used it to tell the story of how upset Alyssa was when she has to visit Gyeongbukgong Palace in a cold weather despite the tour guide's promise that all activities would be indoor. It was challenging to put a smile on her grumpy face, let alone took pictures!
She was so pissed off, she didn't want to play with the other kids and just sat down on the wooden bench hugging herself to keep warm. Poor Alyssa... Luckily, after a half an hour stop at the National Folk Museum she cheered up and even performed her famous somersault in front of Arum and Prita who looked at her in admiration! Yes, this girl knows how to have fun.... :)

Anna Aspnes : ArtPlay Palette Safron Villa
I know that I supposed to scrap our stories in Korea sequentially but I just can't wait to scrap using Anna Aspnes freebies! So, I jumped into day three and hopefully I'll have time to get back to scrap the event on the earlier days later :). This day, after warm ginseng-chicken soup lunch, we visited Gyeongbokgung Palace which is the most beautiful and grandest of the other five palaces in Korea. The garden complex was really breathtakingly pretty with colorful autumn leaves : red, orange and yellow.

Ginger Scraps : Template Mix 2 by Pretty in Green & Life Captured : October by Pixelily Designs
Look at the collection of great templates by Pretty in Green! What I love about them is that they can accommodate more than 1 pictures so I can use it to scrap my trip to Korea! Yaay... and Lily's new kit on fall is just right to do that. This is our first ever leaves war in autumn because we don;t have that season in Indonesia. So excited!
Ginger Scraps : Color Play 4 by 2AM Designs
Blue moon... This kit definitely reminded me of this song. I love the choices of papers Moni had created in this collection. And the dark color is really perfect to be the background of this favorite picture of mine, taken on the ferry deck during our last trip to Korea.
