Meta Wulandari Design : Going Green

GOING GREEN...!!! This kit is really me... Green is my element! And this kit has the wood grain dark paper that I'm addicted to. Can't get enough of scrapping using this paper as the background! Coincidently, I and the kiddos just attended TBI's Green Day a week ago and the pictures are just perfect for this kit. It's like serendipity... LOL!

Ginger Scraps : Shades of Pumpkin by Z Pink Designs

What attracted me most of this kit is the brightness shades of yellow and orange. I admit that I have a thing for every kits with yellow on it...LOL. Just look at it!

Ginger Scraps : October Monthly Mix

This month collaboration kit or Monthly Mix's theme is still evolved around Halloween called Dia de los muertos which is a Mexican holiday celebration to pray for friends and family members who had passed away. I don't have pictures for this occasion so I just used some mummy's wrapping competition photos inspired by the mummy in this kit. I also used Angelclaud ArtRoom's template which I guess is my favorite Halloween template ever!

Have I told you that we have 2 Indonesia designers now at Ginger Scraps! First is Lily and the newest one, just opened her store on 17 October 2012, Angela from Angelclaud ArtRoom. I'm honored to use their products for this week new release. And here they are :

If you plan to shot a lot of pictures this Halloween, this kit is a must-have one. Everything in this kit screams halloween ! The pack is a full pocket of all fun stuff you need to create your halloween layouts.

And with all those cute and scary halloween kits out there, we also need a halloween template right? These great templates are perfect match. Check these out!

Angela has created a really unique templates which include scattered stars on the paper stacked. I don't think I've seen templates like those before. Cool! And, just look at those background papers I used for the 2 LO. I'm into newspaper and words patterned papers lately and Lily's kit kinda quench my thirst of them both. Bottom line, I'm a great fan of Lily's creation... Whenever there's Lily's kits in the Fresh Baked thread, I always grab them without thinking too long!

Siamese Studio : Sisterhood, forever

Look at this elegant collab by Siamese Studio and Trixie Scraps! a beautiful girly kit with reds, pinks, yellows and greens. The glittery elements, flowers and ribbons make this the perfect kit for scrapping about the girls in your lives; sisters, mothers, bffs.

Wow, I really love this collection of artsy papers caled Rhymes of Fall by Siamese Studio! Combined with the mini kit, I think the results are just gorgeous :).

Ginger Scraps : Quirky (Like Me) & Crafty Envelopes by 2 am Designs

With Zig Zag Scraps closed, many of the designers move to other stores including Ginger Scraps. Moni from 2 AM Designs, the ex CT Lead at ZZS, in one of 3 designers that moved to GS. The day they opened their stores, the gallery was flooded by layouts from their CTs. I've never seen so many layouts uploaded in the gallery before! Wow....

Meta Wulandari Design : Deciduous Collection 2

Here is one more layout I created using Deciduous Collection by Meta Wulandari Design.  I  rarely scrap a symmetrical balanced page but since I like the film strips so much, I did it! I  re-colored it to match the newspaper background. For the finished detail, I add the fall leaves on the corners. Sweet.. :).

October Inspiration Challenge : What's in a Name?

I really like the theme of Inspiration Challenge at Ginger Scraps this month. Amy, the hostess, asked us to scrap the meaning of our names or someone closer to us. I'm so excited... never thought of that before! I used a dark wood grain background paper from Pixelily Designs and lighter wood grain paper by Kathy Winter Designs for the name tags. The flower, leaves and twigs embellishment came from Picture Designs, Craft-tasthropic, Adorable Pixels and Pixelily Designs. I also used a freebie mask called Penmanship from Studio ViVa Artistry. Isn't Alyssa so cute with the big sunflower?

Yellow leaves : Fall Festival : Element Pack 1 by Pixelily Designs. Butterfly, folliage, bubble mask : Spring Ring by Craft-tastrophic. Clock, heart : Fall Land by Craf-tastrophic

Project 365 : Week 38

Finally I caught up! I made this week 38 with Happy Homebody by North meet South Studios because I want to emphasis on our sofa makeover... I'm really into wood grain patterned paper lately. I've been searching for these kind pf  papers, I even posted an ISO thread at DST about it!

Ginger Scraps : Life Captured - September by Pixelily Designs

I'm collecting Pixel Lily Designs's Life Captured series. I amaze of how Lily managed to come out with different kind of theme, papers and elements each month. I love how she always thinks carefully about what she would put in the kits, including beads and splatter which I like using a lot in my layouts. Totally worth waiting for! This time, she released the newest serie :

I get the idea of circles layout from one of the page I saw in 8 Ideas for Embellishing Scrapbook Pages with Circles. I scraplift the layout and I'm so happy with the result. Never thought that working with circles will be so much fun. I should experiment with circles more from now on!

Ginger Scraps : Thankful by Adorable Pixels

This one is another kit from Adorable Pixel with thanksgiving theme. I just adore the food stickers elements here! This time I scrap a page about SHOPPING LESSON with the kiddies at TBI. I tried dialogue style journaling because I want to record my conversation with one of the students in Perth class. It's funny..

Ginger Scraps : Sail Away by Adorable Pixels (15 October)

A bunch of new designers have just opened the sore and launched their products. One of them is Jamie and Carolyn of Adorable Pixels. The name truly says it all... their kits are awesomely adorable! Just look at those cute sea creatures elements and fun colorful patterned papers! I instantly thought of my sea animals lesson which I recently did with kindergarten kiddies at TK Bintang Mulia. This kit is a perfect match!

Meta Wulandari Design : Deciduous

Meta is back with her new fall theme kit! It's so different from the usual fall kit dominated by golden yellow, red and brown color because she put on some blue and pink too. My favorite paper is the newspaper patterned one. I just love to pop it out with some yellow! Check it out...

My first Halloween kit this month came from Amy Stoffel, the October guest designer at Ginger Scraps. This is the first time I scrap with her kit. I like her style, a bit vintage yet colorful, fun and full of unique elements and word arts. I made a layout on TBI Paskal last Halloween event. Fun...
