Project Life 2014

OMG... I've neglected this blog for 3 months now since I've been using Pinterest to showcase all my layouts. Geeez....  Sorry bloggie, no hard feeling... It's just so much easier and faster to upload layouts there. However, you have been my loyal and constant companion through out my digiland journey, so I intend to write on you once in a while, especially to record important milestone like Project Life.

I know, both the first and the last time I did Project Life was back in 2012 and it couldn't be called a job well done either. I was full of commitment in the beginning but toward the end I began to struggle to keep up weeks after weeks. Embarrassingly, I only managed doing it until week 47! Only 5 more weeks and I didn't even remembered why I stopped. Shame of me....

Looking back, I felt I was too ambitious to create different look for each layout and it lead to me being overwhelmed. So, this year I just did one page per month to simplify things and only put the most important things there. Special thanks to Becca Bonneville (of Tickled Pink Studio), Juliana Kneipp, Lauren Grier, whom I've been CT-ing for this year, for their gorgeous kits and Traci Reed with her templates, which I bought with the winning coupon for joining November 2014 DSD Facebook Scrap-a-Thon.
